Events to Plan your Cinnamon Beach Vacation Around

I have assembled a list of area annual events that help enhance the impressive list of things to do in our area.  The pandemic has caused many of these events to either scale back or to be canceled in 2020.  I highly recommend that you confirm with the event organizers the status of any event before assuming it will be occurring in either 2020 or 2021.

The following are local area event calendars, which should be checked when you are planning your vacation to Cinnamon Beach as some activities are impromptu scheduled or may be added after I created the following schedule of events:  Palm Coast Observer, City of Palm Coast, Visit Flagler, Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach, and St. Augustine.

January

February

9^th-14^th Speedweek, The DAYTONA 500 is the race you don't want to miss. Historic performances, spectacular finishes and amazing memories await you at The Great American Race.

3^rd Saturday, Native American Festival, 2500 Princess Place Road, Palm Coast, FL 32137, Flagler County’s Native American festival – complete with dancing, weapons demonstrations, wildlife exhibits, encampments and displays.

4^th Saturday, Shakespeare in the Park: Romeo and Juliet, Palm Coast, a modern twist on the 1595 romantic tragedy of William Shakespeare

March

April

2^nd Week – Flagler County Fair, Bunnell, Amusement rides, entertainment, and BBQ festival.

2^nd Weekend – Naval Air Station Air Show, Jacksonville, Experience the ultimate high flying acts as aircraft from the past, present and future showcase their talent and capabilities at the NAS Jax Air Show!

21^st -25^th, Florida’s Birding & Photo Fest, St. Augustine, More than 130 exciting photography & birding events including field workshops, classroom sessions, plus night & action photography.

25^th – Taste of St. Augustine, St. Augustine, Vacationers and locals can sample the wide variety of St. Augustine cuisine at this popular annual food festival.

29^th – May 2^nd  – Annual Palm Coast Songwriters Festival, Palm Coast, the 2021 festival will have more than 25 hit songwriters performing. This 4-day event allows the audience to go ‘behind the curtain’ and see the faces and hear the songs and stories behind some of the most popular songs of yesteryear and playing on the radio today. These artists will be performing their hits for festival attendees.

May

 2^nd Weekend – Biketoberfest, Daytona Beach, A collection of activities that take place at venues and businesses in cities throughout Volusia County, celebrating the motorcycle lifestyle.

2^nd Weekend – Greek Festival, St. Augustine, the popular festival annually recreates a Greek village and offers three days of traditional Greek dance, music, cuisine, and culture, giving visitors and residents alike a chance to enjoy a real taste of the islands, mountains and villages of Greece.

22^nd -24^th, St. Augustine Songwriters Festival, St. Augustine.

27^th, Taste of Fun Coast, Hammock Beach Resort, will be the stage for 20 hand-selected, gourmet vendors serving elegant spirits and hors d'oeuvres.

November

1^st Weekend – Greek Festival, Daytona Beach, Enjoy Greek food, dancing, culture and more.

2^nd Weekend – FreedomFest, Palm Coast, Cars and planes exhibits and demonstrations.

4^th Weekend –Festival of Art, St. Augustine, The St. Augustine Festival of Art features painting, pottery, jewelry, glassware, sculptures, fiber art, photography, mixed media, fine hand-crafted creations, and more.

December

Nov 30^th  – Dec 30^th, Fantasy Lights Festival, Palm Coast, Forty-nine animated, dazzling light displays surround the Central Park Lake for a ½ mile walking tour that is free to the public.

1^st Saturday –  Holiday Boat Parade, Palm Coast

2^nd Saturday, 4-9pm – Starlight Holiday Event & Parade, Palm Coast - Enjoy a fun filled afternoon with live entertainment and performances, arrival of Santa, and pictures with Santa, followed by holiday parade.

New Year’s Eve – European Village New Year’s Eve Celebration, Palm Coast, Live Music at the Center stage starting at 8 PM with a DJ and dancing afterward. Professional fireworks begin at midnight!
