Image
I scoured the internet for the best travel videos to help my guests plan their vacation in Cinnamon Beach.  I have pulled the best videos that showcase things to do and where to eat in Palm Coast, and surrounding areas.  Hope this helps with your vacation planning.  I will be highlighting many of these locations in future blogs.  If you like what you see, leave a comment, or like us on Facebook. International Dining Options in Palm Coast

Image
Palm Coast dining has an amazing diversity of international restaurants.    It reflects the melting pot of cultures that have been welcomed into this community.    I have put together a starter list for you to try and I highly recommend that you verify operating hours as many restaurants are closed on either Sunday or Monday and may not have updated their website to reflect current operating hours and days.    I have tried to indicate which ones require reservations. French  –  La Creperie Kafe Photo by Carlosficto We recently found this French cafĂ© in the heart of Palm Coast at the end of a strip center.  It is small, with quality food and service.  This is a great option for a lighter breakfast with a touch of international panache.  They service a traditional American breakfast and croissants, quiche, waffles, and of course, crepes.  They serve a special French dinner the first Friday and every Saturday by reservation only.  The meal is a preset selection so call ahead for the menu

Events to Plan your Cinnamon Beach Vacation Around

Image
I have assembled a list of area annual events that help enhance the impressive list of things to do in our area.  The pandemic has caused many of these events to either scale back or to be canceled in 2020.  I highly recommend that you confirm with the event organizers the status of any event before assuming it will be occurring in either 2020 or 2021. Event Calendars The following are local area event calendars, which should be checked when you are planning your vacation to Cinnamon Beach as some activities are impromptu scheduled or may be added after I created the following schedule of events:   Palm Coast Observer , City of Palm Coast , Visit Flagler , Ormond Beach , Daytona Beach , and St. Augustine . January 1 st Friday – Art Walk , St. Augustine, On the first Friday of every month, St. Augustine's renowned art galleries open their doors and welcome visitors to browse the latest art exhibits at some 30 participating galleries. 1 st   Weekend, TNT Arts & Craft

Best Season to Visit Cinnamon Beach

Image
Wouldn’t it be great to just pick when we want to go on vacation and not fit our vacations into our school, work, and after school sports schedules? Sadly, that is everyone’s reality, so the best I can do is tell you a little bit about the various seasons to help you narrow down what season interests you, and it’s up to you to make it fit your schedule. Florida may not have four weather seasons, but there are four beach seasons: Fall (September – Novem ber)   Photo by Jeff Krause Photography  There is a reason to like something about any seasons at the beach, but I really like Fall. By the second week in September, the steamy summer heat and humidity have retreated along with the summer crowds. Air temperatures are in the mid-’80s, and the ocean temperature is still warm in September and early October. The daily summer rains give way to dry, sunny days.   Winter snowbirds have not started their annual trek, so you really will feel like a local as you will only be sharing the beach an
